Get to know me...
My name is Alice Porter. I am a highly qualified professional make-up and hair artist. When I started my career in 2015, I fell in love with bridal make-up and hair and have specialised in this area. I have a great knowledge and equal experience in both bridal make-up and hair. I have focused on bridal make-up and hair as I love being part of a bride’s special day, making them feel and look their best and enhancing their natural beauty.
I completed a one-year professional make-up design course at Delamar Make-Up Academy and before this I attended Basingstoke College of Technology and achieved Level 2 and 3 Diplomas in Hair and Media Make-up.
I have also worked as a make-up and hair artist on feature films such as ‘6 Days’ and ‘Kingsman – The Golden Circle’ and have assisted on various productions including the ‘ITV Health Awards’ and ‘Tonight at the Palladium’.
I am based in Hampshire and also cover Surrey, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and London. I am more than happy to travel for your wedding make-up and hair and special occasions.

Alice did my hair and makeup for my wedding. The whole process was easy from having my trial through to the real thing on the day. She made me feel at ease as I’m not someone who wears a lot of makeup or does much with my hair! She was able to do exactly what I wanted with my hair and makeup I loved it and felt amazing! Alice did such an amazing job of my hair and makeup and my bridesmaids for my big day. I’m not a big make up wearer usually so didn’t want to look over the top. My makeup was natural bridal but still me and I felt so confident. Communication was always great and nothing too much trouble.
