TERMS & CONDITIONS

Bridal

Booking & Payment Terms

You must pay the initial non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to secure your wedding date.

The initial non-refundable deposit is in addition to payments for trial services and will be deducted from the final balance of the cost of the wedding day services. The initial non-refundable deposit cannot and will not be deducted from the cost of the trial services. Payment for the cost of the trial services is due one week before the trial date via bank transfer.

Following the trial, you can decide if you would like to proceed with the booking. If so, you must pay a 30% non- refundable deposit for the cost of the wedding day services which must be paid within 7 days of my invoice. The balance of the cost of the wedding day services is due one week before your wedding date via bank transfer. All payments are to be paid via bank transfer.

You must pay the initial non-refundable deposit to secure my services for your wedding date. Failure to pay the 30% non-refundable deposit within the stated time may result in the wedding date being released, at my sole discretion.

Unless you give notice of cancellation in accordance with these terms and conditions, failure to pay the final balance within the stated time may result in the wedding date being released and legal action may be taken to recover the amount due. By paying the initial non-refundable deposit, you confirm that you agree to these terms and conditions.

Trials

Trials usually take place Monday to Friday between 9am – 5pm. Trials can take place at my home studio in Fleet, Hampshire or can take place at your address.

Trials are mandatory and are required for each bride. Without a trial, I cannot take responsibility if I cannot create your desired look on your wedding day. Please take a close look at my portfolio so you can be confident in my work before booking.

If the trial is held at your house, I will not be liable for any damage caused to your house or belongings. If the trial is held at your house, you are responsible for providing a suitable space to set up my kit, a table/work area/chair/plug socket.

If during or after the trial, you are not 100% happy, please let me know immediately so we can try and resolve the issue. Refunds and retrials are at my sole discretion.

Services

At the time of confirming your booking and paying the initial non-refundable deposit, you must provide all required booking information including the numbers and roles of the bridal party requiring hair and make- up services. After you have booked, you may add numbers and services to your booking if, at my sole discretion, timings and resources allow it, however, you are not able to deduct numbers and/or services.

Adding services on the wedding day itself may affect the quality of the services, may affect the schedule and timings, and may cause delay. If I agree on the wedding day to add services, you must pay for the cost of those additional services in cash on the wedding day.

For larger bridal parties, I may require a hair and make-up assistant. I will book the assistant at the time you are making your booking. In the unlikely event that the assistant is unable to attend your wedding, I will try to find you an alternative hair and make-up assistant.

Travel Charges

I will travel the first 20 miles total at no additional cost. Additional miles are charged at £0.48p per mile, which you must pay when paying for the trial and/or making the final payment. You must also pay any costs for hotel accommodation, parking, tolls, and congestion charges. Changes in locations may incur further travel charges.

Cancellations

Should you wish to cancel your bridal trial, you must give notice as soon as possible. If you give less than 7 days’ notice to cancel your trial, you will only receive a refund of 50% of any trial costs already paid by you. For the avoidance of doubt, the initial deposit is always non-refundable.

Should you wish to cancel your booking for your wedding day there will be no additional charge if you give more than 10 weeks’ notice. However, you will not receive the initial non-refundable deposit nor the 30% non-refundable deposit back.

Should you cancel the booking for your wedding day with less than 10 weeks’ notice, you will be required to pay 50% of the final balance of the cost of the wedding day services within 7 days of my invoice for the relevant amount.

Should you cancel the booking for your wedding day with less than 5 weeks’ notice, you must make full payment of the final balance of the cost of the wedding day services within 7 days of my invoice for the relevant amount.

All cancellations must be made in writing.

I reserve the right to take legal action to recover any payment due and outstanding pursuant to these terms and conditions.
This is intended to protect loss of business because other bookings may have been declined to allow yours to go ahead.

Social Media and Website

You agree that I may use photos taken at your wedding and/or your trial and/or your professional wedding photos as examples of my work for future clients to view. You consent to my using these photos on my website, in my portfolio, on social media and other advertising media. I will email you to request these photos and will also reach out to your photographer. Your photographer will receive proper credit for their work. If you do not wish your photos to be used, please notify me in writing.

Responsibility of the Client

You must notify me of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to any sensitivities, allergies and/or medical conditions you (and/or any others who will be receiving services) may have. I will not be liable for any damages or losses that are incurred due to your failure to notify me of any such issues or conditions.

I reserve the right, at my sole discretion, to refuse to provide services to you and/or other members of your party for, but not limited to, infectious conditions or abusive and/or threatening behaviour.

Delays

You must be prepared to start when I arrive on the trial date and on your wedding date. You and all other members of your party receiving makeup and hair services must be ready to start with clean dry hair and a clean make-up free face. If there is a large bridal party, I will create a schedule for the morning of the wedding. Please note that this schedule is a rough guide only in terms of timings.

Liability Limitations and Force Majeure

I accept no responsibility for any damage to any of your or your wedding parties’ wedding attire, unless through gross negligence.

I will not be responsible if there are delays in the provision of the makeup and hair services nor if I am unable to attend your trial or wedding arising from circumstances beyond my control including, without limitation, any medical epidemics and/or pandemic events, any governmental action, restriction or lockdown, any industrial action by third parties, civil commotion or riot, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, fire, storm, flooding or any other natural disaster, road traffic accident, being stuck in traffic, robbery of kit needed to carry out my work or failure of public or private telecommunications or transportation networks or damage to or failure of any mode of transportation used by me.
